    Default gsr idle problem...

so i bought a 70mm skunk2 TB for cheap and decided to install it to match my skunk2 mani. (not port-matched incase some1 asks)

well i installed it and connected the water lines from the stock TB together. i used my stock gasket and tightened everything down. my car idled normal but sputtered around 2500.
i checked to make sure i hadnt confused the tps and map plugs. i replaced the map on the s2 TB with the 1 on my stock TB and put it back. now it idles at 2k but doesnt sputter..
i went to autozone and had my CEL read and i got a TPS code.

if the TPS isnt set perfectly at .50v will that cause the code? or should i jusy take the 1 off my stock TB and put it on the s2??
and is it ok to use the stock gasket? or to run it with no gasket?

    any input will be apreciated!

usually you need a new gasket. my car used to die when i pushed the clutch in, turns out the MAP sensor hole was covered because of a home made gasket (i did not od that), also there is a way to reset or calibrate the TPS but i don't remember, this should cause a CEL so it may need to be calibrated or whatever it's called. i would have to ask a buddy tomorrow about how to do that. your stock TPS should work on it too.

^^yea I think its the gasket b/c it doesn't cover all the vacuum holes...I calibrated the tps sensor 2day, .5v at closed throttle and 4.5v at WOT. Well I got 4.47 but I'll just adjust the stop screw 2moro when I have time. My idle went down to 1500 instead of the 2k it was yesterday and vtec kicks in again. Hopefully the gasket does the trick.
