    Default <GSR Tranny Fluid Question???

    Alright,

    To start off with, i gotta 2000 gsr. Im gonna change my tranny fluid up coming pay day. And im goin with Honda MTF for sure.. What i need/want to know is if its cool or safe to mix Syncromesh with it?? My first time diggin the far into my transmission so to speak. Any1 ever tried this?? And whats been to out comes?? PM's for this is easiest bein i only have a friends computer mostly at work.

    just go with straight HMTF or add some Lucas to it.

    Alright.. What kind of lucas?? Like oil stab or what?? And What if i went with straight Syncromesh?? Would it hold up to the period of normal T.F.??

    i'll say if the transmission is in great condition and no grinding and all, then i wouldn't even mess with synchro mesh, while back i had a hydro ls tranny which it kept popping out of gear whenever underload it would just pop out of gear. got tired of it and was about to sell it for like 100. Until my budd told me to try throwing in some honda mtf see it it helps any and bamm it dont pop out of gear no more, and i still own the tranny til this day which was 2yrs ago til now so HONDA MTF has it's own treatment
