Default 94 civic dx oil press problem...please help!!!

So I was riding to work in the 94 civic (its my DD) and the oil light flickered for about 3 miles then came on. I stopped, checked the oil level and it was good, let the car sit about 5 mins., got back in and drove the rest of the way to work without the light returing. On the way home, it did the same thing flickered a bit, then stayed on. this went on for about 2 days then thursday, friday, and today the light didnt come on. If the oil level is good, that would mean the problem should be a drop in oil pressure I would assume. I have narrowed it down to a few things, 1, press switch right above the oil filter is lose or going bad, 2, the oil pump is going bad, 3, the oil pick up tube may be semi clogged and cant pull enough oil at times to get pressure. The motor is a 15B8 and has 140k. I dont think its the pump because they either work or they dont so im thinking its the switch or the pick up tube or trask in my oil and its blocking the screen on the pick up tube. My question is, has anyone had this problem in the past and if there was anything out there like a additive that I could use to make this problem go away? I plan on pulling the pan tomorrow and the pick up tube and checking the press switch as well. Im not trying to pull the oil pump unless I know its bad in this case I dont think it is. any help would be greatly appericated.

Checking the oil when it's hot isn't a good measure for making sure you have enough oil in it to begin with. Tried hooking an oil pressure gauge up to see what your pressure is?

you have it pretty narrowed down. check the simple stuff first, like the switch, it may need some electrical cleaner on the plugs who knows.
