Default 97 accord stuttering at 60-70mph

Please help me out, my girlfriend just bought an accord and for some reason at around 60-70mph it starts to stutter. It feels like it doesnt have much power but i'm not sure how fast it should feel. Its a stock 2.2l vtec 4 door accord. Any ideas?

Here's an update. I replaced the plugs, distributor cap and rotor button and the plug wires. The plugs looked fine, the dist cap and rotor needed to be replaced. For some reason the car is still surging. It seems like it cuts back like 300 rpms them goes back while going down the road. Any ideas?

oddly enough the cel went off after doing a tune up but it was still studdering, i bought a fuel filter and a can of seafoam, used the seafoam and it runs perfect now...wound up taking the filter back...
