Transmission Shop Question about turnaround time
Its sortof my first time having to have an old cable transmission sent out to be rebuilt, and i was just wondering about what is the average turnaround time on a shop for different things? For example, I want to have this shop simply open the transmission and examine it to tell me what i could possibly need to make sure i can throw it back into my car and have it running well. I only ask, because, so far its been in the shop for ~5days and they havent even touched it yet...
I'm afraid of how long they'll take if i actually have them do a rebuild on it.About how long would/should it be on average to have those things done??
