    Default Parts question???

Ok I recently got a new car,4 door type R (bought from a guy in cali) well i need to replace the drivers side cv axle but uh??? the steering wheel is on the right side so... where do I got to buy my parts for my car? or will a cv from a regular usdm teggy fit just put it on the other side? or is the same as a passenger side for a usdm? I'm having problems buying parts?

It should be the same I would imagine since the physical layout of the motor doesn't change.

That is what I am thinking. Nothing on the motor changes from left to right so its layout stays. Just the firewall and the rack and pinion change. Those parts shouldn't affect the axles themselves. I could be wrong though.

Just tell them Type R axle for USDM driver or passenger.

my guess would be the driver side since that is the one that is giving you problems.

jsut because its a jdm car doesnt mean the engine and trans is different. the shell is what flipped flopped everything else is the same. order like normal but they have to know at the parts store its a rhd itr or else they will give u a usdm teg non itr axle an well then u will be fucked.

elijah if u get any problems at the parts store give me a call

I may be mistaking but I thought that the axle nut for the JDM Type-R is a 36mm where the USDM axles are 32mm....Might want to look into that.

Thanks bro but regular auto parts store dont carry parts for jdm 4 door type r and although i would assume the jdm type r and usdm type r use the same axles my original question was since the car is RHD and the driverside is opposite than the parts store parts should i order a passenger side axle for my driver side? since my drivers side would be the passenger side if it was usdm??? and thanks for the info i'll be getting the axle asap

yes eli you need to check to see if you have 36 or 32mm axles! If you have 32mm and b series 94+ integra axles will work!
