Contact Scotty from Mainstream. He is the king when it comes to ECU/Tuning/chipping. Very nice/great guy that will help you.

He should be in the sponsor section.

Looks very close to the C14 capacitor that eventually goes bad. It's a wear item.

q31. wrong 2 wire plug got connected to iat or iacv and, poof!. check your iat sensor (probably burnt too), and run continuity tests on the plugs to iacv and iat. more than likely pwr steering, iab, iacv was connected to the iat. i can possibly fix it depending on how bad...will have to replace the transistor you fried and jump traces. it may or may not throw a cel since the diag voltage may still be seen by the rom, but it needs to be fixed.

That definitely explains the new idle surge problem. Any way I could take some pics for you to assess the damage and maybe give a quote to fix?

If I can find an ECU to run for long enough to get mine to you, I'll shoot you a PM. Might never happen, lol
