Ok, not to sound NOOB-ish or anything, but what is the whole concept of reputation points? I see that some of the long time members and some of the frequent posting members have alot. Basicly, how's the points system involved with reps. I also noticed that after so many points, you can give someone double the amount of points. Is there a thread here that talks about how the points work? And when you get the message "You must spread some reputation before giving it to_____ again" how must one do that and how many rep points will it take to be able to give that particular person points? I'm just trying to follow that. Thanks.

Ok, so normally, let's say I have 31 rep points. I owe you from a while back ago some rep and I never fully understood the concept. So basicly, I should go and click on those names that I feel deserve more rep to be able to give out more rep to those I'm in debt with, correct(If that makes sense to you)? If that's the case, I owe like 3 or 4 people rep, youreself included. well, I think I might have to rep whore off to get you back.....

I was curious to know exactly how it worked. I wasn't understanding the concept of it. Ya'll have given me just about all the info I was looking for. One final question. The dark blue box when someone reps you, what does that mean? Is that what ya'll were refering to when you gotta have rep to rep someone?

I think that means that they have no reppage power...so it doesn't contribute no matter how they rep you.

It sounds to me like you know alittle bit about reps, but not everything. I have disable rep, but I can still get rep'd and rep people back. I have 22 points right now.

The way we check them, is by looking at our options(where we can either able or disable our reps) and it'll tell you how many you have. Of course, if you want to show off your rep bar go right ahead. To me it looks kinda girly. But thats just me.

Now from reading your posts, sounds to me like you're making fun of people with disable rep, for what? I just don't get it. If you didn't mean it, just keep your mouth shut and answer the guys question without a smart mouth.
