    Default MSP1660 goes Gwinnett PD?!

    So I have been kind of flakey lately as far as being on this forum. Well, I am officially going to test for the Gwinnett Co. Police Dept. on March 21st at 9am. Mind you this is just the first round of many tests to get in but it's a start. Plus, I am pretty sure I have some dudes on the inside helping my name get moved to the top of the list (I know 2 sheriff's in GCPD). Anyhow, so I am sorry if I haven't been on much lately but I am just trying to get my life in order.

    So if all goes well, don't be speedin on my street bitches.

    Oh and I like the new Goon Squad Lounge. Nice!

    Nice man. Do your thing. I would have hated you two years ago, but now that i have a kid and a house and have actually grown up, i respect the officers. I have a few friends that just graduated in Dekalb. Good luck with everything man!

    So I took the test today. I passed and was like the second person to be finished with the test too. It was cake. So I moved on to the prelim orientation. They showed a video of what being a policeman is going to involve. It included going through the Academy. Looks like fun. I mean, going through Academy I get to get pepper sprayed and forced to do pushups. I hear tale we get tazered then. I'll be shot by a gun using rubber pellets, which I am told feels like a paintball gun cranked all the way up. Followed by getting yelled at by drill instructors (very much like boot camp).

    So for now, I get to fill out paperwork and get interviewed, perform a physical test, then onto the lie detector! They stress in the GCPD that lying is zero tolerance. If you are caught lying on anything, you are fired immediately. Super! So I suppose I should fess up that homosexual encounter back in Canada on my pcp/acid trip huh? (jk to any future boss that might be reading this...)

    Anyhow, thats the status currently. Hopefully some cool pics might come of this.

    Good to hear you passed the test Dale. I took it back in 2007 and passed it nicely. Was going through the paperwork part of it when I received an offer that I could not refuse. Good luck to you man. Remember, disclose EVERYTHING! They know everything about you so it is in your best interest to be up front. They like that, it shows good character. They don't care if you smoked pot in college, but they do care if you lie about the paperclip you walked away with from the office 4 years ago.

    Honestly, there isn't much to tell about me. I've never smoked pot, seriously. I barely even drink anymore. I never drive even after one beer. Never been arrested. I've only been to detention once. I smoked cloves for all of a month once. I am like the picture of an angel. I even disclosed the traffic ticket that didn't appear on my MVR.

    Plus, the class I was in, there was a chick who had 12 speeding tickets in like a two year span, and someone was asking about how long ago doing crack would disqualify them. I think I am a little above those folks.

    Also, to those asking for freebies or for me to look the other way... not fucking likely. I need a job. If you want to attempt to have a spirited run away from me, feel free. Though, I cannot guarantee I won't slam you to the ground and tack on more charges.

    Also, peep this new purpose built police cruiser they are starting to implement. This makes being "stealth" nearly impossible. Check out the stats on this bastard too. http://www.carbonmotors.com/

    now first off that's badass. with that said i know some GCPD officers and that's the problem even if Gwinnett gets the car they are going to need to do a lot of driver moifications a lot. not being a smartass but it's the truth alot of the GC officers couldn't drive their way out of a wet paperbag.

    That is if I get the job. I don't think most guys who like to race their cars and drive spiritedly often seek police jobs, though it's kind of a hand in hand deal.
