    Default painting wheels

    alright, i have a question about painting my wheels. how do you do it? i just want to paint the spokes of my wheels and leave the lip but, how do you do it? anyone know how or can tell me where to go find out ?

    tape it up, sand the spokes with a fine sand paper clean them to remove oil and dust. paint them

    u have to take ur time taping up believe me itll look soooooooooooo much better when u do that. just make sure that when u paint u prep correctly and that u paint w/ little or no humidity

    Best paint for wheels is one of those engine paint's 500deg. at Autozone,Advance etc... + buy a spray can of clear coat and you got to go.

    Cuz it sticks better and it wont chip off or anything like that. Just to be safe

    cuase your wheels get hot from the brakes. right? so the paint dont melt?

    that wouldnt make much sense to me..i used metalcast and i dnt have any problems w/ my starions

    The Duplicolor wheel paint, maybe with a clear coat, should be good enough.

    I got bored one day and painted my heat shield with it with no prep and one coat. It holds up even sitting over my exhaust mani.
