    Default Pics of my Civic!

Finally took some pics of my ride, I bought as it is. I am going to install a computer (see the next post) in the trunk and a touchscreen in the front. 70+ gigs of music, navigation, DVD playback and possibly a rear camera at my fingertips is HOT!! Let me know what you guys think!

yeah its a LS/Vtec. A balanced B18B bottom mated with a B16A2 head, Walboro fuel pump, Crower Rods, polished crank, Arp rod bolts, skunk2 cam gears, STR Fuel Rail, stock camshafts, lightened flywheel, Exedy Stage 2 Clutch, Greddy Headers, light port and polished head. P72 ECU with Skunk2 piggyback. Dropped, Skunk2 Coilovers, custom roof, Tanabe Exhaust, BM Shortshifter, Tach in the dash and shift light in the door. Much more stuff I can't remember...

Thanks, I'm looking to find a red valve cover, the one I have was painted black, but it is fading. Maybe a LSD, but I am still using an SI transmission. I really need to clean the engine bay!!

VERY nice LS/VTEC. A few things i really like:
1.I HATE tachs with a fucking passion, because of the simple fact that people normally have them all in their windshields and shit. Yours is VERY nice, clean, and original. I give you much props for the idea!
2.You didnt put a fucking wing on it. i cant tell you how many civic i see in your body style with them.
I JUST got my new valve cover in the other day. I got a Honda Integra Type R Valve Cover(big vtec letters).....my car is finishing getting wetsanded right now, but when i get it back i will show u some pics. keep up the good work with the engine/sys/and overall car!

    btw i got a 95 del sol wit a 95 gs-r swap

man i really wanted a del sol, loved them since I was in high school but I couldn't find one with low mileage or that wasn't banged up. Honda should make an attempt to bring a car like that back. Thanks for the feedback! BTW, where did you get the valve cover from?

It might be a little squeeze for the del sol, but the question that I have to ask is where would you like to mount the screen? If you go the flip-out touchscreen (like the Pioneer, Kenwood models) you can use it with your laptop. Check out mp3car.com for the Xenarc or Lilliput touchscreens, they work w/ a USB connection and have VGA inputs (better quality over RCA). The laptop itself can be housed in your trunk or even under the passenger seat.

i kinda want to use the laptop as the screen, if u know what i mean. like i wanted i guess like a stand or somethin that it can sit on and like not move and i wanted to be able to play movies and mp3's off my laptop.....i dont even want a cd player or flip out....i want to be able to pull out my laptop whenever i want......u know what i mean?

ahh ok I hear ya, I know that you can buy or fab a bracket arm that you can mount the laptop on and either use a dc-ac converter and plug it into. You might come across a slight noise distortion depending upon grounding wires and how clean the power supply is. Very doable though, and you still have the ablity to close the laptop and take it with you.

as you see though I said in my first statement I bought it as is.. my original/not so original idea is installing the carputer in the car. So I am not taking credit, but thanks for your comment on my choice in cars!

I am not generally a fan of anything honda but this one is very nicely done, eventhough cliff is trying to piss on your parade lol. you may not have done EVERYTHING but you had enough intellegence to buy something that WAS done well and that says alot in it self. the one thing i dont personally like is the little mugen badge on the front its the only thing that takes away from the car because it draws attention to it.. thats just my 2 pennies.

Thanks Spyder!, most people who have seen my car comment not on the mugen badge, but why does it say Hybrid on the trunk. My answer is that I am too lazy to take it off..
