    Default 90-91 crx bumper on a 89???

    can i use a 90-91 oem crx bumper on my 89 crx. i was wanting to get a 90 si bumper to replace my dx bumper and it said 90-91 only. just wanting to know if it was just because of the style of the bumper.

    88-89 no matter what model is the same, then 90-91 all models are the same front bumper.

    the bumpers are interchangeable, but you know they look different right?

    yes i know they look diff. my 89 bumper is one solid color, i like the 90-91 style: color on top and black on the bottom matches the rest of the car.

    Not just that but the 90-91 has vents (or cutouts for fogs) on the lower corners while the 88-91 is just flush.

    tope black molding is thinner on the 90-91, 88-89 is fatter. and the bumper lights on the 90-91 are a little longer i believe.
