    Default EK charging problem

    Just got the car and thought the battery was dead but the person forgot to plug the alternator in.So bought a new battery and plugged the alternator in.Bought some some reason the car still dies.I recharged the battery fully and tried it but it still dies down after a minute but it will run if you leave the jumper cable hooked up ]
    also I took the alternator to autozone to have it tested and it was ok
    Any Idea's?
    Its a 96 EK CIVIC EX
