    Question Rpm on a civic DX

    In my civic i dont have rpm, (its a value package), if i buy one could it work. Would the rpm work?

    Dude don't buy a seperate tach. It'll look hideous. Assuming you have a 5th gen civic ('92-'95) buy a GSR gauge cluster. I did and swapped it out. I also ended up painting the bulbs in the cluster red (showed up amber) and it looked beautiful. I have pics somewhere, if you want I'll post'em up.

    jsut get a small one. thats what i did to my ek, because im anal about wanting to know exactly what rpm im at , in each gea, at eash speed.

    And if you do get a seperate tach, make sure to tap directly into the uh.... *brain dead* i think its the distributer... not sure....hold on....

    He's got a 7th gen Civic, and YES it will work. But than again I would just go with a 01-05 EX gauge cluster. It's up to you.
