Default need help in gwinnett! D16a6 wont start! will provide beer for help!

heres the scoop i have a 90 dx hb with a D16a6 swap , it will not start , the starter is spinnin and the motor is turnin ( turnin kinda slower than normal) these are the things i have checked and replaced

    1. new battery
    2. new fuel filter
    3. new fpr
    4. new spark plugs and wires
    5. new injectors

    things i have checked

    1. fuel pump is comin on
    2. fuel filter is fillin up and seems to have pressure
    3. all injectors are not gettin power
    4. i am gettin spark to all 4 plugs
    5. ecu is spittin out no codes
    6. i sprayed a little bit of starter fluid in the intake and it goes to start but quickly stalls out
7.timin belt still attached ( replaced less than 2 months ago)
i am really pushin towards a fuel issue , but am now at a loss for what to do!
i gotta get this runnin today or tues. or wed. of next week , any one in gwinnett willin to come out and help me trouble shoot this , i'll buy lunch and beer!

its not that hard just make sure the cam say UP and rotate crankpulley to TDC . another way to see is take the #1plug out and look to see if the piston is at the top

yeah its really simple, the timeing belt will slip off the cam with a little bit of hard pulling. i got it done when i corrected the timing on my car.
    G/L with it.

main fuel relay?? those are notorious on ef's...mine went through three.

sounds liek it could be an issue possibly.

look under your dash on the left side and you will see a little black box...bang it a little and sometimes it will connect and start up...

    good luck

you do not have to take the pulley off just slip the timing belt off set the #1 cyclinder TDC put the cam gear on time and put the timing belt back on

What did you do before it wouldn't start..

I suspect one of two things..
    1. ICM in the dizzy is bad.
    2. Check to see if the injectors are actually pulsing (use a screw driver to hear them click when turning the car over.)

I hate the fuel relays. lol I keep having problems with the relay in my car, but nobody has a replacement one. It will work if I take it out and shake it a little though. haha

Drunk.scotsm, I don't have any advice, but I wish you good luck. Get it fixed!

its very simple look at the timing belt on the cam.
when you see it, start pulling at it with ur fingers, or get a flat head scewdriver and push it out (but be very careful not to damage ur timing belt)
    correct the timing,
    and slip it back on.

also after you take the timing belt off the cam, it would be a good idea to have a string or something and tie it up to something so it doesn't lose its grip on the bottom.

    its really very easy.

also make sure its at TDC and then correct the cam to where the up arrow is pointing up.

jesus.. check the ecu fuse. It's something electrical.

Mechanical timing can't just jump time from sitting.

my car did that one time, sounded like it wanted to start, made a little poppop like it was going to. I replaced the distributor with a used junkyard one. Started right up haven't had a problem since.
