Emissions. Ha yeah a skyline isnt going to pass emissions here and youre better off paying someone off to do it. Also glass, headlights, crash information has to be done blah blah blah.

Its not like we all havent seen some skylines rolling around. There are like 5 I know off in atl.

Yes we can assist in bringing the car over legally. It is somewhat expensive and if you try to do it yourself your probably going to get the car seized by customs and crushed. There is a lot that has to be done before the car even leaves the country of origin or else it can never be legalized here. If your serious about bringing it and have the cash to do so PM either myself or Tripper and we can get the ball rolling for you. I will say that if its an R32 your looking at $18-$20k if you supply the car and significantly more for an R33 or R34.

military can only approve a temporary importation... meaning the car can be here for xxxx amount of time then it has to be destroyed or sent back out of the country. if you wish to keep it here you must update all safety/emissions equipment to US standards which is not a very simple task.

if it were that easy there would be tons of them around.

Just buy heavy throttles gtr for 40k. lol

Theres one for sale on g20.net in canada. Which I know you can get stuff from there easier. I have a few friends that brought down some st185 gt fours and 850 R's.

But its a 89 gts with an rb20. And god why buy a skyline with an rb20. Buy an s13 with one.

    i'm not for certain but...

I think military can bring a car back to the US with them if its older than 20yrs or it passes emissions. For example, i had a buddy who lived in Germany and bought a M3 and brought it back with him. Then i know a guy who brought back a late 80's RHD mini with no problems at all.

Seeing how none of the good GTR's meet either of those you'll have to go through the crap of getting one over here.

R32's are the most fun and the cheapest. Their shortcomings are easily overcame and then you've got the lightest and simplest chassis to have fun with.
