Thumbs up We're planning a Southeast Audi Dyno Day and spots are filling up fast...

It will be at BattleGround on either the 13th, 20th, or 27th of January.

Please contact me through PM or by leaving a message here in the thread if you would like to attend. Typical Group Dyno fees apply...

    Attending so far are 3 Stage 3+ S4's, A couple more Stage 2 S4's, built A4's, and possibly a few of the more rare S models (S6's & S8's).

Let me know if you are interested, and which date you would be interested in.

    Audi's Only.

    Thanks,

    Doug

    Dyno Day Details:

    Jan. 20. 2007

Dynoing will begin promptly at 10:00 am.

    Prices:
    $46 for Quattro cars
    $36 for FWD cars

    Price Includes:
    -3 pulls on the dyno
-Wideband A/F monitoring if you already have a bung installed.
    -Lunch: burgers/hot dogs and coke

    Other Notes:
Spectators are welcome and encouraged, but if you want to grill up some burgers and dogs, you will need to bring your own. Please let us know if you plan on showing up so we can gauge how many people to expect.
Race gas is available. C-16 is $9.00/gallon and methanol is $4.50/gallon
Make sure to remove your belly-pan before it is your turn to dyno.
We need a minimum of 10 people to maintain the price listed above. 15 people is ideal and 20 is probably the max.
We will recieve color print outs of the dyno sheets that same day and you can request the sheet be e-mailed at the same time if you would like that format as well.

awd always cost more to run

  22. #22

Yup... AWD Dyno's cost considerably more to purchase and operate. So the cost of operation shows up in our dyno cost.

I'm not familiar with the TT, but on the S4 the belly pan is removed to get better tie down points. Nobody wants a car coming off the dyno.

yes you will have to take off the TT underbody plastic if you want to to dyno it... also TT dyno funny kinda like R32.. i believe its b/c the AWD is electronic.. i know some R32 guys disable their rear wheels to dyno by pulling a fuse. if you Dyno the TT watch your motor it will rock back n forth (looks funny)

Sounds good...hope to see you there.

I hear ya on the parts... but about the only thing I don't have from that list is the suspension and brakes.

I just upgraded my fueling and built a custom exhaust recently... should put me at over 400hp at the wheels. Best part is that the car looks completely stock!

    Hey Everyone -

The Dyno Day is still on as scheduled. Let me know if anyone else is interested. Currently this is only open to Audis.

Spectators are more than welcome, but will need to bring their own lunch to cook on the grill.

when it comes to staying in the audi loop your best bet is the southeast forum on www.audiworld.com, but i cross post events like this to the events/meeting section and euro section to try and get everyone out!
