    ok im also helping a buddy with a project... he has a EF hatch and im going to put a b18a in it.. and im wandering if it will work... you know.. plug and play...

    what year is the ef, if its obd1 your ls should swap right in

    its an 88.. Im not too sure if it a obd1 or obdo?

    its obd0 so you will need to use the wiring harness off the old motor. also will need b series swap mounts.

    Definately not Plug and Play. You need b-series swap mounts, shiftlinkage and axles. EF never came OBD1. If its DPFI you need to convert to MPFI. Use a OBD0 PR4 ecu.

    88 std - shell
    98 Lude - broken :/
