    alright i'm trying to put my d16a1 in my EG... would i run into any swap problems? or is it a direct plug and play kinda thing?

    if that is the swap from a ef, you will need a hydro tranny, hydro clutch, wiring harness, about the same stuff you need for the ls

    oh...well you will still need that stuff, cause its a cable driven tranny.

    Not gonna work without a lot of custom mounts. First gen tegs use different mounts than 88+ civics. Now if it were a true ZC then it would bolt in. And you could just bolt to your current tranny. Only thing to change on the zc is injectors and dizzy, rechip ecu or get a p29. Not worth it for 118hp(d16a1).
