    Thanks

I looked for an AE86(hatch) in my area for a long time but all I found was junk Then I ran across this MR2. Seems the AE86 are just as hard to find in good shape as the AW11.

I have thought about trading it for something more straight line oriented.

But thats still up in the air.

Unbolt the supercharger and run a nice t3/t4 set up. The stock internals are already forged and at a very low compression (8.1 CR good for lots of boost). the stock block/internals can far out perform the stock fueling system. ugrade injectors and maybe run a AEM EMS and ab 10-15 lbs boost and be in the high 10's low 11's with sticky tires. thats ~270-300whp. AW11's can be made VERY fast! Hell if you have the money do a 3SGTE swap with a boost controller and an exhaust and be in business!

With another MR2 maybe but this one feels great with the supercharger. Yeah its not max power but its making good power down low for a 1.6 liter

The supercharger seems to fit this car well.

3SGTE well thats a no brainer lol I would love to have that in here but I am not looking for such a major project.

believe me if you like the SC you'll love the GTE. Ive been in a couple 220+WHP versions that would eat vettes....they were quite fun. Kits can also be fabbed for less then the cost of a new GZE motor. I had a friend with one in his AE92 that he fabbed for under $1000

    I bet they are crazy.

I have no fabbing skills and I cant afford to do the swap.
