    Default sr20 FMIC Battery

Hey guys, I am in need of an extremely small battery for my S13, one that fits around Front Mount Intercooler piping. Was wondering if you guys knew any brands or places I can get a battery localy around atlanta. I appreciate any feedback.

jsut relocate your batter placement form underneath the hood to the back in the trunkk or something like that...just weld you a little custom holding bracket for it in the trunk...my friend did in his s13 because of similar issues lol

relocation kit is cheaper than a new battery generally speaking. a little more work but it also moves a good chunk of weight to the rear.

you can do it yourself by going to a hardware store and just buying what you need cheaper than buying a kit to do it with...and it's not really that hard

I definatley dont want to get a battery relocation kit... very annoying, and too much work not to mention, I dont want battery acid covering my trunk, especially with expensive stereo equipment back there, I'll probably end up going with a Miata battery. I assume you get those from a Mazda dealership?

get a sealed cell battery or put the standard battery in a proper battery box. problem solved.

Get a hawker battery and you can typically fit it between the cold pipe and the inner fender. Plus it saves u alot of trouble because if you relocate you need external kill switch to be track legal etc etc.
