				4G54 aka G54B
4G64
4G63
Mine really dosn't leave the garage. People across the street think it is a tool bench.

how so? i have 38k on mine with WELL over stock power, 100+ launches at the track and it still runs great!Originally Posted by plv

Wow there is some dumb shit in this thread. 4g63 unreliable? Tranny yeah if you beat on it, motors no way.
450 hp on stock block all day long using factory parts and that sucks?
A 4g was built by Mitsu not chrysler, you are confusing the 2.0 neon motor in RS eclipses and such. Mitsubishi supplyed cars/motors to Chrysler not the other way around.
Whoever told you that Mitsu motors are the same as Chrysler is stupid. I'm not going in to it again really, just go to wikipedia and read for about 10 minutes and you'll understand the relationship between MMC and the Diamond Star collaboration and other ventures like the Dodge aries/colt/stealth etc.

				thank you

i've had no problems with my 6G72, I think the chrysler sebrings use those motors, but I could be wrong.

they athe reason alot of people do that i think is because back in the day the Chrysler Laser, Eagle Talon, and Mitsu Eclipse where all made in the sameplant...the first gens i believe...
You know better; next time will be a ban.

Wow, you're amazing. It's the Plymouth Laser. And yes they were all made in Normal, IL as part of the Diamond Star Motors project. The 2nd gen Talon and the Eclipse were made there also. Using all Mitsubishi shit on the 1g's, thats why the 4g63t made them all fast. The 2g non turbo came with the chyrsler designed non turbo motor while the turbo came with the, yeah you guessed it, Mitsubishi designed motor.Originally Posted by §treet_§peed
Now, basically the only shitty Mitsubishi is one powered by a Dodge motor.

my dodge stratus has a 6g73 in it which is a mitsubishi motor. My dodge avenger has mitsu stickers and interior components all over it but has the chrysler designed 420a motor.

i have whatever motor comes in the 4 cyl 2.4 2000+ eclipse in my srt4..well its the same block atleast..and holding 450whp out of stock motor seams pretty damn good to me, only time will tell how they hold up though. but there are alot of people running around making over 300whp with 150k on their SRT4's
