    Default Need some exhaust advice

I need to get a new exhaust for my 96 H22 Accord because the Magnaflow that is on it is just TOO LOUD. I'm looking for something with a deep tone to with a little volume. I just want to be able to talk in the car while driving down the highway without yelling. I'm new to the Honda's so any suggestion I'd greatly appreciate

go to a muffler shop and get them to make a a custom 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipe and buy yourself a good muffler...
You know better; next time will be a ban.

is the resonator that straight thick pipe near the center of the car? I have a Magnaflow setup right now that was on the car but I want to change it. Should I just get a good muffler and have it welded on?

Well it just muffles sound. The bigger the area of the pipe, the more room for sound to resonate, which reduces noise. I am not in the know about honda exhausts. My car just has stock exhaust, with a piece of "straight pipe" welded in place of the muffler.

I've always heard that Greddy cat back systems are a little more quiet with good performance, but i've never had one myself. still might not be as quiet as you want though.
