Exclamation 4G64 Pro's, cons, and info...

i have heard a little from other people about them being good motors...but i was just wondering what you guys thought about it...and Casey (Halfwit) was like i bet you won't make a thread asking about it cause don't nobody know wtf you are talking about....lol me and my friend Brandon were tlaking a little about this motor and what we had read in magizines about them starting to become a pretty popular swap or so...and come to find out his grandma has a Mitsu minivan with one in it...

It's a kickass motor to build. 2.4 litres of fury! It will spool a turbo much faster than the 4G63 2.0l motor can.

You can also take the crank from a 4G63 and put it in the 4G64 and destroke the motor to 2.1 litres for decent turbo spool and a crazy redline. Some people are ringing it out to 10+K rpms.

    Longer stroke FTW!

alot of people use thoose bottom ends for swaps in GSX/TSi and they are beasts! really quick spool and with a built head they can still ride out to 8k RPM...

built 4G64+built head+20G=500whp with full boost at like 3k RPM=killer street machine
