    got it today!

    only downside is that a smoker owned it before me, but ill figure a way to fix that lol

    also what suspension do you reccomend?

    its my DD as well as i may want to do an auto-x sometime

    i have asked on miata.net but most of them say keep same springs get new shocks, but i honestly cant stand the wheel gap

    Depending on your budget there are a few faves in the Miata crowd.

    Ground Control coilovers with Koni adjustables....cant go wrong.
    Tein coilovers, a couple different setups available, Tein Basic being the most affordable. That might even be more cost effective then the Koni/GC setup.
    I would avoid the typical Ebay coilover crap...unless you dont care about handling. For a "cheap" drop you could do Tein or Eibach lowering springs and some KYB AGX shocks. The AGX's are good, the springs have no adjustment obviously. I would skip the Racing Beat springs myself...they will leave your car with and obvious rake upward in the rear. Ugh.

    Fat Cat Motorsports offers some interesting products as well.

    I should add if you wish to test drive a non oem setup I have a car that has an Eibach/Koni setup. I can let you take a spin.
