    an edumacated online diagnostic

most likely you need a turn signal/headlight switch, the lever on the steering column. it sounds like that thing's probably shorted out, and if so, the short may be causing a parasitic drain which is killing the battery........pretty unlikely since if in the switch it has a hot grounding out it'd probably blow the fuse before putting a dent in the battery voltage but still it's worth checking to at least fix the lighting issues.

ever hook up a multimeter and see what your alternator's putting out?

dude who wired your car. because it sounds like you ECU if hooked up to your battery and not hooked up to your ignition at all cause theirs no way it should be giving codes when the key isn't even in the ignition, or maybe you ignition is bad, if thats really possible IDK just throwing you some ideas...

3-4 hours of tracking down wires and making it run right will cost more than $50.

lol, like i said , turn signal switch, and see what your alternator's putting out, i'm 1 for 1 thus far, buy a turn signal switch and plug it in you shouldn't even have to take the other one off to just plug it in and see if it's the problem, if it's not, return the thing lol
