I don't think that's CF, probably fiberglass... anyway, seats are a safety item, this is not a knock on megan's products, but, for an important safety item I'd tend to stick to proven brands, and let other people test out the new stuff, just my 2 cents.
PS: Seats are rated by FIA, but alot of quality seats don't have FIA ratings, so it's not a big deal unless your organization requires it.
