    Default crankshaft trouble

    hey guys where can i fix my crankshaft it needs to be cut and balance. my bearings went out and it eat some of the crank shaft and piston rod i am going to buy new piston rods but dont have enough for the new cranck shaft if you guys know of any place that does this please let me know of the place and number that i can call? thanks if you have any idea of how much thise will cost let me know place thanks

    Just get a new crank. Its going to be hard for a person to give you a price since we don't know the trim you drive. I"m not sure if the gsr/LS/GS/Type R cranks are all the same. Call some of the sponsored shops here and they'll help you. Better yet, here's a link engine shop directory

    Hell no they are not the same

    Just get another crank though...turnign th ecrank will make it weaker and especially if it ate up the bearing that bad as u described....also have ur rod checked to make sure its still usable , if its out of round, you need to have it machined...just buy a new one
