So I got this widebody Supra shell, and I've been thinking you know what it really needs, a fully built sr20det

Ill be going to pick up the shell in a few weeks, after that it goes to the body shop and then we start putting the motor in.

Put a boosted LS1 in there. If any car needs a V8 with some oomph it would be the Supra since it weights a good bit.

I debated putting a windsor in it, but with the SR it should make a really nice roadrace car, I'm pretty much setting up everything I own to go to the track now.

It doesn't look like they cut the firewall on the one in the picture, but we will see once we put it in. I'm not opposed to cutting things. I can't wait till the supra purist find this thread.

Put the Landcrusier V8 in there if you want a v8.......its what all the Supra chassis are hauling around in JGTC or w/e that shit is.
Apparently, 2JZ is dead.
Maybe cause they're all in 240's ahahahaha.
Who did the widebody?
This is going to be a fun project. A nice set of coilovers, some good brake pads, about 500hp and we should be good.

The V-8 is too much weight, and the 3S-GTE is a good idea but I already have a ton of badass SR parts, all I'm missing now are the sleeves and a fully counter weighted crank shaft which Ill probally pick up after the wedding.Originally Posted by AFSil80

What road course are you thinking about doing? Little Talledega?
I want to do AutoX again but I'm making too much power for it now(Not a ton but enough to be unbalanced in a parking lot). Its a weird setup but I think it would benefit from a road course.
Hit me up Jay, Matt has my number.
I have 4 track days scheduled in November, VIR, Roebling, Barber, and CMP.
Youre welcome to go with us to any of them.
