    Default vtec problems

    ok i got a b18c1 and the oil is fine and stuff but vtec isnt kickin in like it should it us to kick in pretty hard but now its really weak when and if it does kick in so some help

    its not kicking in thats about all that there is to it

    check the solenoid. Is the car throwing codes?

    on of the wires had melted of cut or something so now its kickin in strong as hell

    Maybe you dont even have a VTEC engine, but just MAYBE...LOL!

    One of the connections to the VTEC solenoid I'd assume? You need to watch that solenoid, they are POS and often need to be replaced
