    Default 89 civic problem

oka here is whats going on I did a si {d16a6} swap in a dx i changed out the dash and engine harness for the si harnesses thinking it would make wiring easier but now the car idles at 4 1/2 grand and runs kinda rough so i started trying to see what would happen if i unplugged some senors and i unpluged the one behind the throttle body and the idle dropped to 2 1/2 grand but the cat got firey red so im lost on what to do. Any help will be appreciated. If you can come out take a look and figure it please come help.
