on the starter you should have 1 small wire (approx 14 gauge) and one that comes from the battery.Originally Posted by Z U L8R
on the small wire... get a test light, probe the wire while someone is attempting to crank the engine. if it lights up and no crank--- starter. if no light-- could be the switch, a ground issue, any number of things. at this point start back tracing the circuit.
