They offered me a sponsorship and I declined them... all they do is charge you money and then put you in touch with people who are able to get you parts cheaper (they usually sell for 10-15% over distributor cost). I can get them same prices on parts AND save my $120 that SCP charges AND not have to put yet another sticker on my car. Real sponsorships you don't pay yearly fees for, and you get parts AT COST or FOR FREE.
