    Default Shock suggestion

I am about to lower my 98 civic. I am riding on stock shocks right now but want to upgrade to some aftermarket shocks. Does anybody have any suggestions on what brand of shocks to buy for a lowered car.

TEIN adjustable suspensions have an excellent reputation.
I have them on a 95 Eclipse, have the Type Flex.

kYB and Tokico are both good adjustable shocks/struts. I choose KYB over Tokico only because they're warranty policy. The both carry the same warranty. Tokico requires that you send the shock to them for warranty inspection before replacing them. KYBs can be warrantied immediately at the place of purchase. Not to mention that KYB is a little cheaper.

KYB AGX series seems to be a great upgrade and is pretty affordable for a high performance shock, still I think the Koni yellows are the best ones bust cost a good bit.

yeah... KYB adjustables are a great product for the price. if you looking to do something moderate in price these are the ones. if you have over $500 to spend then go with koni yellows or tokico adjustables.

I'd say go for the KYB AGX, I have a heavy ass car and they held up well, great shocks/struts, affordable, you wont regret it.
