usdm revs to 9k too, and the best teg for boost will be the LS because of the super low compression of the b18b. the type-r comes with a great amount of hp, but its actually really hard to modify, if you dont know what you doing, the mods you put on there will LOWER hp rather than increase....type-r has longer gear ratios, i believe, and the tranny also comes equipped with LSD...aside from mechanical differences, the inside of a type-r looks super duper cool with the black leather and red stitching reminds me of a pair of reebok solja's i use to own.....
