    when is it preffered to get the Crank re-balanced My motor only has about 80k on it it's a 98 USDM acura integra GSR

    if you are reusing the rods and pistons, IMO, you dont need to rebalance it. Now, if you replace the pistons and rods, DO get it balanced with the rods and pistons at the same time.
