crx muffler replacement

I just had a quick question I have a 1988 honda crx and someone told me that there are two mufflers where is the other one located so i can straight pipe it to go with the rest of my exhaust? please advise

umm i have an 88 crx si and i only had one muffler. i don't know who told you that but as far as i know they are wrong. the stock exhaust runs underneath the car to the passengers side and then cuts across underneath the back bumper to the drivers side.

There is 1 muffler at the rear of the car and a resonator along the main pipe section.

There is one RESONATOR and one MUFFLER. Resonator comes first from the motor.
