Both, custom cuts will cost more because of the time involved in making the Kit "off the car" as not to damage the paint(defeat the purpose)

only reason to do that would be if there is cusotm body parts, i.e. ground effect kits or something of that nature. or you wanted areas that are not supported for your vehilce, i.e. door cups, trunk lids, wheel openings, rocker panels, A pillars........
