    Default Gonna do it..

Im in the process of registering for my motocycle class and getting my licence... Keeping my eye out for a bike right now. Looking for a 600cc, thinking maybe an GSRX600 or an R6 or something, I wanna stay under like 4 grand (im buying used). Maybe a Katana600? I dunno, still doing research but im excited.

But yeah, thats about it, just thought I'd share. Im taking the course with GA DMV.

How much was this one and did you get your licence at the end? The one thru GA DMV waives your written and driving test to get your licence...

Mine did the same waved the driving test, but i still took a mult. choice test. I think that I payed 250 but I did this last year. If you have already signed up thats good, but if you havent take it at the Honda riding center, near north point mall. It was fun and the teachers are great! There was 10 people in my class and we all passed.

Well this one is the same price and you get to waive both tests...basically just go pick up your licence. I havent signed up, still trying to pick out the best dates...

Whats the hours like on the Honda one? Its pretty hardcore with the GA DMV.

my class was friday 6 till 10 at night and sat and sun all day until dark. The written test was simple if you cant pass it then you dont need to ride. They go over everything before the test as well. The riding test was pretty easy as well, because you go over all of it and do it over and over and over again before they test you on it. I thought that the hardest part would be these figure 8's in a box but it was easy and it was way harder on the bike they make you ride there then on my R6.

same hours as the ga dmv one then. my step-dad was saying its much easier to take the class and get the licence then doing the driving portion cause when he got his last time he had to lock up his back tire and skid thru a turn and also hit a railroad tie... plus he said its much tougher on his bikes since he rides harleys. but thats all besides the point.
