Does this mean, my timing belt went out?
I got in, to start the Jetta ( I forgot to turn my A/C off..it was on when I started it), Car starts..@ the same time I hear a popping, blowing sound from the front engine area and smokes alil..so I turn it right off and see whatsup..soo I try to start it again, It Cranks..but it makes these noises and the engine, shakes/rattles a bit.

Depending on what the engine type is(free running or interference), if the belt did go, you'd hear more than that. Probably wouldn't crank either. Should have posted in the VW sub-forum also.

if has to be off. just check it also you coil packs something happen and it fired at the wrong time.
Just keep trying to crank it and make sure to pump the gas whie ur trying to turn it over.
no jk dont do that i managed to fuck up my motor pretty bad when i was like 16 tryin to start it with the timing belt broken.

Shit..Well, I hope it was just the damn Timing Belt..hah.
ummmmm no, don't know much of the VW motors, but I would have to say it wasn't the timing belt considering it still runs.
NVM^^ It was just my Spark Plug..one of them came out..D'oh..
Guess, I just needed to replace them..ehhh
