    Default 99.5 jetta abs light

    i have a 99.5 jetta gls vrs, the abs light comes on
    pads are good and so is the fluid.
    what else could be the cause

    pull your ebrake, press the pads a bit... if the abs stays on... Eurotech can scan your car for free... swing buy and ask them to they are in marietta

    could be abs sensors but try pauls suggestion first

    lots of stuff. wheel speed sensors, reluctor rings on the hubs, modulator/acutator, abs computer, driving with the e-brake on, diff sized wheels, etc
