    what exactly do you mean it jsut turns?? like when he turns the key nothing happens period?? need more info...

    He can turn the key, just nothing happens when he does. The engine doesn't even turn over. The car is in perfect running condition, except for this problem. We just checked the battery and its fine. Still have no idea whats going on.

    check if your starter is getting power, bang it a lil not to hard though

    Starter:
    Ya just checked that, starter is fine. Connected it straight to the battery, worked fine. Thanks anyway.

    im not sure if you have a relay between the starter and ignition , fuse,

    BTW those the instrument cluster light up ?

    No, the starter works. But the engine is still down. sorry about the confusion.

    And he says the cluster light was broken a while ago. but that shouldn't change anything, Right?

    no but just wanted to know if you where getting power to the ignition switch. when you positiont he starter tothe "ON" position

    yeah i would make sure all the relays and fuses are good...then he might have to replace the ignition switch itself..you know the part you put the key in and turn..lol

    Called our friend, told him what was what and he said the switch was the only thing we hadn't tried. So a hour later and its being fixed and all is well. Thanks for the tips and I just read the posts and damn man, Street Speed you called it.

    no problem man lol i had that problem one time cept we were like 200 miles from home i hot wired that bitch jsut so we could make it back, lol...
