ka tranny to sr20 ??
i was looking at some videos and i seen this sentra whoop some dudes ass. ne-way is a sr engine swap feasible and keep the ka tranny ?? or specifically i know the sentras came with the SR engine, why? and is the tranny mated to it any good ?? cause i'm thinking i'm just gonna grab one of those and throw it in.
the fwd tranny of a sentra is not gonna work with a rwd 240. and im pretty sure the ka tranny wont work with the sr20.

you can use a RWD KA trans on a RWD SR motor as long as you swap to an SR bellhousing. as stated above, the gears are longer in the KA, but the trans will still work.

swap bells and she bolts right on no worries. the gear ratios are the same ladies. the sr tranny has better syncros making it a bit more robust, but a good ka tranny will hold a mild sr no problem.
