    Default quick question

    does anyone know how many quarts of oil an 01 prelude holds, its an h22 vtec....ive already put 5 in it and its still below the lowest mark, wouldnt think a 4 cylinder would hold much more than 5 but not sure.....thanks guys

    It shouldn't hold more than 4.5 or so. maybe 4.75 to fill the filter. Are you checking it while it's off? Crank it, let it sit for like 10 minuts, then check it.

    yeah stock oil pan, yeah i cranked it to let the filter fill up, shut it off, let it sit for a few min. to let all the oil run back down and checked it again and its still low.

    yeah honda-tech says 5.1 qts. with filter so something is up......its my brothers car and he just bought it a few weeks ago from a dealership....so maybe its the wrong dipstick or something, oh and its bone stock too.

    nah dude honda-tech nows..also they might be refering to it as being a fresh motor that has been just installed or something and is being crunk for the first time or something..pm mike (vteckidd) he'll know...he always does..lol

    5.1 quarts? fuck man...

    my 2.6L G54B only takes like, 2.4 quarts

    yeah my GSR only takes 4.5.
