boost amount depends on alot of things, with a stock map sensor you can boost 13~14psi or so, and more depending on if you upgrade to a 2bar , 2.5bar map sensor etc. you will also need other supporting modifications like upgraded injectors, etc.

    1.7 bar (stock)=11ish psi
    2.5 bar (motorolla)=22ish psi
    3 bar (gm)=28ish psi

stock block--stick w/ stock mapsensor, but better have larger injectors and tuning. aftermarket mapsensor--better have built bottom end at least, much larger injectors, and tuning.

get a gm 3 bar. you can order them from gm dealership or from autozone/pepboys. mapsensor for turbo transams or you can get it from aem too.

or, go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and enter part number 12223861

get the wiring harness that goes to it for ease of connection and don't cut off the stock map sensor plug. just splice the 3 bar into the stock wiring and leave the stock mapsensor disconnected.

3 bar works fine as long as you scale the map and tune it properly up to 28ish psi so you'll be fine.
