    Default GA Lemon Law

Ok well after only 5000 miles my car has been in the shop 3 times in the morning. I have a leak by the driver side handle where the plastic meets the roof fabric. It leaks REALLY BAD when it rains or when i wash the car!!!! so the first time i took it they said they found nothing, but i was like WTF its there so then they found it but couldnt fix it then. So i took it back in and after a fiasco conversation where the guy was a complete JACKA** saying i need to roll the windows up and that they probably wont find anything agian. So then they found it and said it was fixed. so i was all happy up until tonight. we had a huge rain storm and BOOM i get pounded with water all over me. So in the morning im going over there and raising all sorts of hell. so what i was wondering is if anyone can give me some info on the GA Lemon Law and what i should do or what i can get out of it. Thanks!!

Is it a new car or a used car? There is no lemon law applying to used vehicles. As for a new vehicle I would let them know that you are aware of the magnusson-moss warranty act and that they really should try their best to take care of the situation. What kind of car is it? Where did you buy it?

Been there done that, well my case was in Indiana but the basics are the same.

As said above, you have to have purchased the car new.

You need to look up the GA Lemon law and see how many chances they have to fix the defect. It's usually 3 but it varies from state to state.

The first option is always to have the dealer or manufacturer take care of it and get you out of the car and into something else without legal action and without you losing a lot of money but that doesn't always work. If you decide you need a lawyer, let me know and I can give you a link to the firm that I used, they practice in quite a few states. It's not fun, it's not fast and it's not easy but it will get you out of a bad situation and into a different car.
