I'll go first:

Since those pics I've gotten an STI hood scoop, I badge, and painted my headlights gunmetal on the inside. In 2 weeks I'm getting rid of the roof rails and hopefully sometime thereafter I'll get the car lowered.

Ok Well about 2 weeks ago i got rid of the civic and got this...

it ran but smoked and found out it had low compression in one cylinder so we pulled the motor

well we opened it up and we found this...

A melted piston !!!!11
well i figued since that motor was trashed why not do it right this time so after a little thought i decided to put this in there...

from a 2005 STi 25k on it we put all new gaskets, seals , blah blah blah and here it is all assimbled and ready to go

here is the workspace and an interior shot

Nice project! You might want to start saving for a new transmission after doing the 2.5 swap.

I use the Faststone Viewer to resize pics, its freeware on download.com.

Has anybody done a badge removal on the front grill on the 06s yet? I think that would look pretty clean.

Could you not just dremel out the stock honeycomb and badge and then put your own home depot chicken mesh painted black in its place?

Do it nicely and it wont look cheap at all. Paint the mesh gloss black, flat black, gunmetal, whatever you want and think will look good.

I just hate badging on cars, I debadged my car the second day I owned it.

^ LoL, not really. But I already beat an Ecutek tuned 02 Wrx with i/tbe/up-pipe/ic hoses/19psi. So no I really don't want to run him.

Sorry dude. I am not trying to say that your Nice

looking Wrx is slow, but a stage 2 is supposed to beat an Srt-4 no problem from a dig. I am a stage 2 and I raped an srt-4 that had more mods then Chad and was pushing 21psi, and still puut two cars on him. AWD>FWD
What I was trying to say is that I can beat John's stg 2 cause I already beat my friends bug eye that has way more stuff then he does. Its all good though right.

Word, it should be close I think. As soon as my car is fixed I will take it back out for a few days to do my final runs in my stage 2 set up. Cause after that I will lay low and dissaper(??) and come back out looking diffrent and running stronger.

I will hit up all the guys that I want to run before I go, but trust me you'll be on my list
