My engine is relaxed at 7500 rpm. The KA would probably be sitting in a puddle of it's ownself at that speed. I win.

Very true. I should've added that part in there. I guess I kinda make up slightly with the extra 2 cylinders. Keeps the engine from completely falling on it's face on bottom end. I must admit I have a little bit of tq, though. My shifter broke on friday so I had to jack up the car and jamb it into 4th gear. I crunk it up, blipped the gas a little bit and I was rolling.
