Ive already stated my opinions on RB20 S13s. The motor is cheap, makes 220 with light mods, and is pretty much painless to swap in and out. Anyone with an RB20 will tell you its a great motor for what it is: Nissans weird middle brother between L-series Z motors and next generation NEO RBs. Its heavy, low displacement, and has a small aftermarket. So what? It also revs to 8k, spools quickly, has tons of potential, and responds well to mods (when you do them right...). ANNNNNDD, I got mine for a grand shipped. Name another Nissan motor/shell combo that meets the above criteria and still has the potential to win the Grassroots challenge.

My car knowledge doesnt stop with the RB20, or Nissans, or imports, so lets talk shop if you want. Im not saying I know everything there is to know about mechanics, but I do know enough to ascertain you are talking 90% out of your ass and 10% out of a magazine. Itd be nice to actually have some intelligent, beneficial discussions on IA, but I gave up on that months ago, so quote this with some off color remark or mod another post of mine if it makes your e-peen feel bigger, but realize you are not, and will never be, on my level.

I started working on domestics about 12-13 years ago also, working on cars with my pops like most people get into mechanics. After HS moved to trophy trucks and prerunners, working at Camburg in California for a year as a lowly wrencher. After that I got into mini trucks for a bit, and got Nissan fever. For the last 4 years or so Ive been all about imports, Nissans mainly but others too.
