    Default rear wheel drive

i really like my integra even though it's not the best out there. I want to turn it into a rear wheel drive car so i can drift. I've wanted to do this for awhile NOT JUST because of tokyo drift. Someone said that i could use a foxbody mustang chassis and just trade them out. Any ideas?

i highly doubt the mustang chassis will work. reason being, the car as a whole was designed for front wheel drive. now, there WAS a converted integra, but it was using crv drivetrain components. i cant remember the shop that did it, but if drifting is what you want, go buy a car that was meant to be rwd. everything down to the suspension on the integra was designed for exactly how it sits. fwd. so either have some ebrake fun with it (yes, it is completly possible to drift/slide using ebrake manipulation), or go buy a rwd car. even the teg that was converted didnt do too hot in the drifting scene. again, it goes back to EVERY component that makes up the car.

    Just "trade them out?"

Go find whoever told you that and slap their entire face. Then go buy a RWD car and hop on the drifting bandwagon y0!

That was all wheel drive, not rear. There were some guys in Canada that converted a CRX using the same CRV shit. Pointless IMO.

it was RWD, done by Braille Auto. they just did the AWD CRV stuff and yanked the front axles.

it did ok for what it was, but like most converted fwd/awd cars it had no steering angle and was a total waste of a car really.

as for the mustang chassis, everyone knows mustangs can't drift. the ones you see in formula D are really 240sx's with mustang body conversions.

Shit, gender doesn't matter to me. I give both equal flaming. She is just a kid though, so I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.

I thought this forum was for the people who needed to ask questions and learn stuff... But i mean if you know everything about my car or anyone elses why don't you start a business or do something that gets you some cred. Other than that you can back off and let me ask some questions so i can get just as smart as you.

Oh, and some of us owned 240sx's long before they were made popular because of drifting.

A drivetrain swap is a major ordeal.

It would require LOTS of hours of work or thousands of $ if you couldn't do the work yourself.

It would be MUCH easier to just buy a rwd car.
